Dear Ladies Of Lighthouse,

GLORY!  That is the best one syllable word I can use to describe our Sunday morning Bible Study as we plumb the depths of Daniel for golden nuggets of truth.  The gold we are now finding is the one purified by refining fires.  Have you ever had a trial or burden?  Are you in a trouble or tribulation?  Come and join as we study the example of  Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego in the fires of trials, persecution and testing.   If they had bowed their hearts to anything other than the Lord, they would have avoided the fire…but they would not have seen God…and we would not have their example.  What a wonderful reminder to me that if I bow to a temptation in order to avoid the trial, I will never know the richness of having God with me and I will miss an opportunity to showcase the reality and sufficiency of my Lord.
