Lighthouse began with 18 people on March 1, 1998 with a belief that God was calling us to a ministry in the Plummer-Ford Road area. Little did we realize how incredible the journey would be!
For the first five years, we met in King's Road Baptist Church in Dinsmore. During that time, God blessed us with 14 acres of land and the opportunity to build our own church. We started construction in November 2003 and held our first service in the new church on October 3, 2004.
By 2010, we had greatly outgrown our building's capacity. We were blessed with the gift of a large portable office building, which quickly became known as "The Box". It now houses Sunday School and Wednesday Night services for our youth and serves as the home of kidZone, our Sunday morning Children's Church.
We're so grateful for all that God has done in our fellowship, but we're even more excited about all He's going to do in the future!
